Dave Hickey - from a series of email correspondence between me and Dave (November 2020 and April 2021).

„ ...Yes that is really cool looking and I like the picture in the modern setting.

Keep up the good work...”

„ ...I feel she definitely has a unique style that sets her apart , her work is modern and

Tells a story I feel there is definitely. Great potential for her...”

   Artist words:

“I was born in Botosani, Romania , in 1971. My paintings are made with acrylic colours on canvas stretched on wooden frame, in mixed technique "brush and ruler ". I have participated in several group exhibitions in Bucharest, Romania, one on- line exhibition in Haifa, Israel and I represent Romania Contemporary Art at European Art Museum from Danemark, with “Another Sonrise”( acrylic on canvans 50 x 50cm).

After I lost my father in minutes, without anything announcing the tragedy, I started to paint and all my work is trying to convey a motivational message. And, my message is.....Nothing plus nothing equals infinite. When you feel you have nothing to lose, in fact everything starts here. From that moment, will be open a countless possibilities. It is up to us to find our inner power to rise up, to choose the right path, and to go on the chosen path. The lesson I learned and I want to share with all of you is that life is so short and we have to live as much as possible today, to enjoy every single moment. “

    About the Artist:

All the paintings are acrylic on canvas created from several overlapping layers of acrylic, using special tools and brushes, and hundreds of lines and dots.

According to some art critics she has a unique style that sets her apart with an unique technique on acrylic which she uses on the characters and the backgrounds opening up a new trend in contemporary art. During the time she was named "the girl with the faces", was compared with Picasso for her amazing weird characters, but starting with her last two collections, she is a defined artist with her unique style of painting, a Georgescu.

Currently, she has a painting in the European Art Museum from Denmark, with “Another Sunrise” (acrylic on canvas 50 x 50cm).    Life is not perfect but is an incredible gift. I read somewhere that "A sunset is a sunrise seen from the other side ". There will always be an "ANOTHER SUNRISE". Irinel Georgescu

Edward Kiersh, New York journalist - from the interview of Luxury Splash of Art Magazine – (London, 18 April 2021)

“… She’s surrounded by acrylics, along with rulers she uses to create different shapes and to spread thick layers of paint on her boldly-defined women, all without eyes…” from the interview of Luxury Splash of Art Magazine – (London, 18 April 2021)

“… two women alone, braving facing the unknown. What will life bring? They have no idea, but they have each other. This unity is wonder captured in this painting--and it stirs hope, certainly from the vivid, explosion colors. The painter has faced being alone, and this painting pictures her surviving, nobly--with anticipation of a bright future…” (Bleak Soul, January 2021, 120 x 140 cm

“…Shelter From the Storm--this painting seems to picture two women standing by the River of Life--which way will it flow for them? That remains in doubt. But it's evident that the artist has been struggling with existential questions, and is certainly talented to allude to them in her fascinating work…” (Quiet Relief, March 2021, 130 x 150 cm)
